Goat shed

Objectives : Following the analysis of Sainte-Croix-en-Jarez's territory (Landscape living), this project was to reflect on the establishment and design of a farm building : a goat shed.

Orientate & Adapt

The major challenge of this project was the ability to combine the functional data of the program with a poetic architecture born from the landscape. Therefore I transcribed these intentions in a partitioned project, adapting itself to the topography, with the desire to create a smooth line in the landscape.

Organize & Divide

Separating the buildings depending on their functionality has guided the different edifices according to the views and prevailing natural elements of the area.

Structure, envelope, cover

By the choice of materials, I wanted to evoke agricultural's imagination. Steel porticos for the structure, wood siding for the envelope.
