Art installation

Musée de la Mine 2010 • G.A.Ï.A. 2011

Both of those art exercises were to implement a lightweight module, through an experimental approach in situ and on the scale 1.

« Bamboo’s – Excrescence » at the Musée de la Mine

Year 2010

Teamwork : Pierre Bouilhol / Lucile Maurel / Coralie Renaud / Miguel Pinilla / Violette Prost

Under artist Patrick Condouret's supervision

Material handling and assembling systems led me to wonder about the links between the sensitive, the plastic and the constructive, and the relationship between a given material and the reality of a space built to protect the body and temporary living. Body and light effects are captured in the sensitive area of the built form.

« 3000 cardboard boxes » at Grands Ateliers de l’Isle d’Abeau

Year 2010

Teamwork : a team of 50 students

Under artist Patrick Condouret's supervision

This monumental sculpture was made in three days by a team of 50 students. After searching a constructive principle for digging the volume of 3,000 cardboard boxes, we have carved into the mass and removed the boxes one by one, without destabilizing the structure. In search of light, spaces were created gradually to make way for large rooms, lit by the openings.

On the third day, we continued to extrude, and sought the limits of the structure until it collapses.
